Floating debris - amongst which my bubbles rise - the rubble of slow demise. Drowning me - from which my troubles cry - the subtle try, to allow my cheating porous interface with air to dry.
Here my merman relief wept, its gills now filled with stutters. Here, my aquatic self now brimmed with hesitance, every word it utters, hushed by waves that ran and craved silence that pushed me, further down ambushed.
Here my merman lust kept its kills, now in me, here be the sea that froze, and from that frost of hunger, from my ice, I rose.
